Dr. Carlos Galvan is an ophthalmologist who treats general medical conditions of the eye, including glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.

Dr. Galvan was born in Texas. He received his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Next, he moved to California to earn his medical degree, MD, from Stanford Medical School. Dr. Galvan completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.

Dr. Galvan has been in private practice in ophthalmology since 2010, most recently in Laredo, Texas. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, traveling, and serving in his church. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
